Southern region to suffer coming rainy days

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center last night warned of medium- heavy downpours and violent winds in the Southern and Central Highlands regions.

Southern region to suffer coming rainy days

According to the latest news from the weather agency, a low- pressure zone operated in the Philippines’s southern territorial water which is expected to become a tropical depression and enter the northern territorial water of the Philippines’s Luzon Island on Thursday or on Friday.

Because of its influence, the territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau and the Spratly Islands will see powerful wind of level 5-8, big waves of 2-3 meters and rough sea.

Meanwhile, the whole northern region is experiencing scorching temperature of 35- 38 degrees Celsius, even above 39 degrees Celsius in some places at daytime and heavy to heavy downpours and thunderstorms at nighttime.

From July 13- 19, the hottest days with a maximum temperature between 37 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius are warned in the Central provinces and cities.
