Southwest monsoon causes rains in southern region

The effect of strong operation of the southwest monsoon, nationwide will generate deep cloud and heavy rains on the large scale next two or three days, announced the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center on July 19.

Accordingly, the southwest monsoon will cause showery weather, thunderstorms, cyclone and strong winds in the territorial water of Gulf of Thailand and Ca Mau to Kien Giang provinces.

Meanwhile, the northern and central region will see heavy rains, thunderstorms and strong wind due to the influence of  the confining pressure at 20- 22 degrees north latitude in China’s  Leizhou peninsula.

In Gulf of Tonkin, the territorial water from the central provinces of Quang Tri to Quang Ngai and Paracel Island will experience thunderstorm, strong wind and sea rough.

The showery weather is forecast to locate in Ho Chi Minh City on the large scale, causing the daily temperature reduce slightly at 24- 34 degrees Celsius.
