Storm ‘Nari’ enters East Sea

A strong storm named ‘Nari’ has formed in the sea off the Philippines coast and is currently moving towards the East Sea, according to the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.

On the afternoon of October 11, Storm ‘Nari’ was located 200 kilometers east of Luzon Islands (Philippines) at longitude 15.6 degrees north and latitude 123.5 degrees east.

The storm sustained wind speeds of level 12-15 near the center and according to weather forecast the storm will move west northwestwards at 20km per hour. Until the afternoon of October 12, the storm was located 680 kilometers east southeast off Paracel Islands at longitude 16.0 degrees north and latitude 118.5 degrees east with strong wind speeds of level 12-14 near the center.
