Temperature in south reaches 37- 38 degrees Celsius

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center reported that an extreme heat wave is predicted to hit the southern region on the large scale in the upcoming days.

Currently, the high- pressure area of continental cold air masses continues weakening and spreading out the southern region.

The hot weather will cover the areas of the southeastern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City  from March 12.

The highest temperature in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc could rise up to 35- 38 degrees Celsius. 

The high temperature tends to gradually decrease from March 15.
