The combination caused heavy to heavy rains in the south- central provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.

According to directions from the Vietnamese Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, the typhoon- hit- localities had moved 34, 693 people to safe places.
