Typhoon ‘Aere’ changes direction to hit East Sea

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center reported that typhoon ‘Aere’ is predicted to change its direction and enter the northern territorial water of the East Sea because of the influence of a cold air from the north.

The strongest wind near the center was reported to reach at level 8- 10 after the storm has passed over the Philippines’s Luzon Island.

The center warned that typhoon Aere will move westward at 20 kilometers per hour tomorrow, and then develop stronger after that.

By this evening, it will be positioned at 20. 4 degrees north latitude and 116 degrees east longitude, at 610 kilometers of the Paracel Island. The maximum speed near the center will be at level 6- 11.

From October 7- 8, the storm will slowly move at 540 kilometers northeastward of the Paracel Island with the powerful speed of level 9- 12.

The Central Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevent sent a message to ask the steering committee on natural disaster prevent, search and rescue from Quang Ninh to Khanh Hoa provinces need to eye closely related information about the storm, and require vessel owners and fishing boats running out of the danger zones.
