According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, the eye of this system returned territorial waters from Thua Thien- Hue to Quang Nam in Tuesday evening.

On the same day, the Japan Meteorological Agency said that the tropical low pressure system developed into a new storm named internationally Kajiki.

According to Vice Director of the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center Hoang Phuc Lam, Vietnam has not determined that the tropical depression turned into the typhoon.

Due to the influence of the tropical low pressure system, the provinces from Nghe An to Quang Ngai are expected to see heavy to heavy rains until Thursday.
