Typhoon Nuri makes East Sea seriously rough

Since this morning Typhoon Nuri have moved west - northwest at 15 km per hour. At 4 p.m. Friday, the center of the storm was at 22.1 north latitude, 113.8 east longitude, 50 km southeast from Macao, China, according to Viet Nam's weather bureau.

The area near the center of the storm saw winds measuring force 12 on the Beaufort scale (118 – 133 km per hour). At a distance of 120 km from the center, winds were force 10 or higher.

Affecting by the storm, the northeast area of the East Sea has winds of force 10 or 11. The area near the center of the storm had winds of force 12 or 13.

It is forecasted that Typhoon Nuri will enter southwest Guangdong province in China on Saturday evening and will then gradually weaken into a tropical depression.
