Unseasonal rains to hit central highlands & southern region after Tet

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center reported that the southern territorial waters of the East Sea, southern central, central highlands and southern region are predicted to suffer unseasonal rains this month because of powerful operation of low pressure range. 

Unseasonal rains will hit the Southern region

Around three or five cold fronts are forecast to cover over the northern region during this month. The average temperature in both the central highlands and southern region will climb up to 0.5- 1 degree Celsius compared to the same period of previous years.

Total rainfall in the northern region will be lower at 20- 40 percent compared to the same period of previous years while the rainfall in central and south central region will increase from 40 to 70 percent over the same period of the last years with its rainfall of 30- 50 mm.
