Nearly 260 new artworks displayed in fine arts exhibition

A fine arts exhibition featuring 258 artworks opened at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum in District 1 on August 22.

The exhibits by 229 artists are made of various materials, such as oil color, lacquer, wood, watercolor, composite, silk, bronze, iron, ceramic, acrylic and others.
The artworks were selected from composition camps which were organized in provinces and cities across the country by the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association.
The art award committee presented 10 A prizes worth VND18 million of each, 12 B prizes worth VND15 million of each, 15 C prizes worth VND13 million of each.
