The conference discussed necessary technologies and presented research results of the project to transform thermoelectricity ash into covering materials for industrial solid waste landfills. This research is done by experts in the Vietnam Institute for Building Materials under the Ministry of Construction.

The method to create construction materials from ash produced from thermal power plants has attracted much interest since it can solve the pollution problem and make good use of the huge amount of this by-product, which can largely reduce building cost.
