FPT opens VN’s largest software export center

FPT Software under FPT Corporation officially opened its software village F- Ville in the second phase (F- Ville 2) at Hoa Lac High-tech Industrial Park in Hanoi yesterday evening.

Attending in the event were Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, leaders of Information & Communications, Science & Technology, Education and Training Ministry and high- level leaders of foreign enterprises from Japan, Korea and Europe.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, chairman and CEO of  Vietnamese technology company FPT Truong Gia Binh said that the software village becomes the first and largest software export centre located in Hoa Lac High- tech Industrial Park with around 5,000 employees.

FPT pledges to continue strengthening its investment in the fields of education and training, infrastructure research and development so that F- Ville Hoa Lac becomes a global IT center about digital conversion service.

F- Ville 2 covering 28,000 square meters is part of the F- Ville Software Compound of Hoa Lac High-Tech Industrial Park licensed in 2012.

F- Ville 1 was put into operation in 2013 with 2,000 workers.

Accordingly, F- Ville’s 5,000 employees will collaborate with staffs of Japan, the United States, Germany, France, Slovakia, Singapore and Korea FPT Software in researching and adopting IT projects for Japanese customers.

On the same day, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam visited and certificated for FPT University for innovation achievements in programs and methods of the high- quality humanity resource training.
