New solution to process 3,000 tons of waste per day

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology held a seminar on May 16 with the scientific and technological consultation council of the construction project ‘Processing plant for 3,000 tons of household waste and power station’.

New solution to process 3,000 tons of waste per day

The project will implement the cutting edge waste incinerator SUS-Hitz-VonRoll to burn rubbish while harnessing energy and collecting recycled material simultaneously.

This technology has been successfully applied in 18 waste processing plants around the world.

It is expected that after the two-year construction, this new plant will aid to treat household as well as burial waste in 50 years.

The new plant will also be able to turn the large amount of waste into energy and recycled material to create useful products.

When in full operation, the plant will provide jobs to more than 200 local residents.

The project continues to receive suggestions for improvement.
