Test of ICDL in Viet Nam

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Posts and Telematics and the Asia-Pacific branch of the International Computer Driving License Foundation (ICDL) announced today that they will hold examinations for the International Computer Driving License for the first time in Viet Nam.

Employers, educational institutions and Government agencies in over 140 countries have hailed the ICDL as the international standard for computer literacy. With over 3.5 million participants worldwide, the ICDL is a recognized competency standard endorsed and administered by the Australian Computer Society.

By having the Examinations in Viet Nam, local people will be able to raise their general level of competency in IT, as well as receiving accreditation to an international IT standard.
