Vietnam wins Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2014

Vietnamese students won the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2014 over last year champion - Japanese team in India at 6 p.m. (Vietnam time) on August 24.

18 teams from 17 countries and territories attended the final round at  Balewadi Stadium, including Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong (China), Bangladesh, Egypt, Fiji, Iran, Mongolia, Nepal, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Russia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

The Vietnamese team defeated the Japanese team after 45 seconds to gain the championship title this year.

Besides, Vietnam won another award for the best team in the tournament. Points of this award were counted through absolute victories of robots.

Lac Hong University has been on behalf of Vietnam to attend the contest for 5 times and this year it crowned the champion.
