Vietnamese anti-virus software to enter US market

BkavPro 2009 Internet Security, anti-virus software made by a Vietnamese company, will be sold on the US market within the next two months, Nguyen Tu Quang, general director of Bach Khoa Internetwork Security (Bkis), said October 7.

The product has eight new features, including: personal firewall, reputation-based detection and parental control.

It will cost around US$40 a year.

Bkis also opened a customer care center in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Binh District on October 7 to support its customers in southern provinces.
