VN has first science street name of “Science Avenue”

International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) and the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province yesterday held a ceremony to install a street name-plate of  “Science Avenue” at T-junction of National Highway 1D approaching to ICISE in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province.

 Under witnesses of more than 70 scientists from 19 countries and territories, Physical Nobel laureate Professor Gerard ‘t Hooft, chairman of “Gap go Vietnam” ( Meeting Vietnam) Association and leaders of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh opened a red piece of cloth to inaugurate the first science street in Vietnam having name of “Science Avenue”. 
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Tran Thanh Van believed that the more and more scientists at science academy in the world arrived in Vietnam to exchange and do research in science sector at ICISE. 
 
On the same day, Gerardus ’t Hooft visited International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education.
