Asian Football Federation President arrives in Vietnam

President of Asian Football Federation Mr. Abdullah Ibni Sultan Hj Ahmad Shah arrived in Vietnam yesterday to chair AFF Committee meeting and the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup drawing in Ha Noi.
 
General Secretary of Malaysian Football Federation Hamidin Bin Haji Mohd Amin accompanied with the AFF President.
 
At the ceremony, AFF president Abdullah Ibni Sultan Hj Ahmad Shah affirmed that Vietnam team is one of major candidates in this competition. The Vietnamese football team have just had a new Japanese coach and set up plans for the 2014 AFF Cup.
 
The drawing ceremony is expected to take place at Sheraton hotel in Ha Noi at 2pm on August 5 and be telecasted live on VTV3 channel.
 
Accordingly, eight football teams will participate in this competition, including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, East Timor and Philippines.
