HCMC team wins National Swimming Championships 2017

Young swimmers of Ho Chi Minh City team excellently won total 24 gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals to rank the first position in the table of medal count.

Tran Duy Khoi and Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram impressively compete in the 2017 National Swimming Championships

In the final days, Tran Duy Khoi and Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram impressively resulted good achievements.

Duy Khoi won two gold medals in the men’s 200 meters backstroke and 200 meters medley. The athlete set new national record with a time of 1 minute 59 second in the 200 meter individual medley.

Meanwhile, Phuong Tram also won two gold medals in the women’s 200 meter backstroke and freestyle category.

Two swimmers of Quang Binh team earned two more gold medals. With the achievement, the team stood the second position before Da Nang.

Finally, HCMC team ranked the first position with 24 gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals, followed by Quang Binh with seven gold, two silver and six bronze medals, and Da Nang with six gold, three silver and four bronze medals.

The 2017 National Swimming Championships is scheduled to close inThua Thien- Hue today.
