Le Guen unveils 23-man Cameroon squad

YAOUNDE (AFP) - Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen on Sunday unveiled his 23-man World Cup squad, state Cameroon Radio-Television (CRTV) reported.

Le Guen made his choice from an initial 30-man squad following Saturday's 1-1 friendly draw against Slovakia in Klagenfurt, Austria.

According to CRTV, two players - FC Augsburg midfielder Marcel Ndjeng and FC Bruges striker Dorge Kouemaha - have been put on a waiting list.

Cameroon play in Group E with Denmark, Japan and the Netherlands.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Hamidou Souleymanou (Kayserispor/TUR), Idriss Carlos Kameni (Espanyol/ESP), Guy Roland Ndy Assembe (Valenciennes/FRA).

Defenders: Benoit Assou-Ekotto (Tottenham/ENG), Sebastien Bassong (Tottenham/ENG), Gaetan Bong (Valenciennes/FRA), Aurelien Chedjou (Lille/FRA), Geremi Njitap (Mke Ankaragucu/TUR), Stephane Mbia (Marseille/FRA), Nicolas Nkoulou (Monaco/FRA), Rigobert Song (Trabzonspur/TUR)
