PM honors achievement of Vietnamese women football team

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc yesterday had a meeting with representatives of Vietnamese women football team who deservedly won the gold medal at the 29th Southeast Asian Games in Malaysia.

At the meeting, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc honored efforts and contributions of Coach Mai Duc Chung and women players to bring the gold medal for Vietnam at the SEA Games 2017. He hoped that the Vietnam women football team would continue harvesting more achievements in the regional and international sport events.

Attended in the meeting were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai; Head of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training of Vietnam Vuong Bich Thang; Vice Standing President of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan, Vietnam national women's football team coach Mai Duc Chung and representatives of the Vietnam women football team.
