Quang Binh honors two gold medalists of SEA Games 2017

The central province of Quang Binh yesterday held a solemn ceremony to honor two athletes Nguyen Huy Hoang and Hoang Thi Ngoc who excellently grabbed two gold medals at the 29th Southeast Asian Games.

Hoang Thi Ngoc won the gold medal in the track & field event while Nguyen Huy Hoang won  gold and silver medals in swimming category.
 
Swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang won gold medal in the 1,500 meters event and broke a SEA Games record with an achievement of 15 minutes over 20 seconds.
 
Both the gold medalists were born in Tuyen Hoa district of Quang Binh province.
 
At the 29th SEA Games, the Vietnamese sport team was ranked the third position with total 58 gold, 50 silver and 60 bronze medals.
