Quoc Nguyen takes 2nd at Billiards World Cup Porto 2017

Vietnamese billiards player Nguyen Quoc Nguyen (world No.13) yesterday became the second- best winner at the Three-Cushion Carom Billiards World Cup Porto 2017 in Portugal after he was beat by Korean competitor Kim Heang Jik (world No.8).

This is the first time that the two Asian billiards players met in the World Cup Championship, and the third time that Vietnam qualified the final tournament. 

Accordingly, Quoc Nguyen won the most point at the sport event. 

Earlier, Quoc Nguyen defeated 40-20 against Korean player Heo Jung Han (world No. 14).

With the result, two billiards players of Vietnam Quoc Nguyen and Quyet Chien were listed top 14 and qualified next main tournament of the World Cup.
