Singapore ready for SEA Games 2015

Three months before the opening ceremony of the 28th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) preparation by the host country  was about 70 percent.

A large  number of audiences were booked tickets for competition days at swimming, badminton, table- tennis, said Singapore SEA Games Organizing Committee (SINGSOC) chairman Mr Lim Teck Yin.

According to the schedule, the 28th Southeast Asian Games will be hosted in Singapore on June 5- 16. The large scale regional sport event attracts the participation of  4, 900 athletes from 11 countries, who will compete in three  sport centers including Kalland, Marina Bay and Singapore Expo. About 790,000 tickets are available for sale and watching 18 of the 36 sports will be free.

The host country expects to attract 800,000 to one million audiences to the Kallang sport center during the SEA Games. Nearly 17, 000 Singaporean volunteers will work in the sport event.
