The Toyota junior football summer camp has been officially launched with its first selection round in June, said Toyota Company Deputy Manger Do Thu Hoang at the launch ceremony.
This year, the organizer has raised the age of participants from nine to 12 years old. Candidates will have chance to be trained with former famous footballer Hong Son; moreover, they will play with their Japanese friends.
The selection round will take place in four big cities; it will take place in Ho Chi Minh on June 4, then moving to Da Nang Central City on June 11, in the northern province of Thanh Hoa on June 18 and in Hanoi on June 25.
Thirty outstanding young athletes are selected to the camp for further training under the guide of Nguyen Hong Son. Coach Hong Son and other coaches will continue choosing 18 outstanding footballers to take part in training camp in Japan from August 23 to 30.
Submissions should be sent to the organizer from May 18 to June 25. Registrations can be made online at the address www.toyota.com.vn, or at Toyota Vietnam representative stores or local sport centers.
