According to the draw, Vietnam, Myanmar and Uzbekistan are in group B while group A consists of U23 Japan, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and host- country Thailand.
As the competitive schedule, the Vietnamese team will respectively see teams of Myanmar, Uzbekistan on December 9 and 13.
The international friendly football tournament is considered as a chance for the Vietnamese football team to learn experience from international tournament before the team will enter the 2018 AFC U23 championship.
