Vietnam defeats Indonesia 1-0

The Vietnam national U-23 football team yesterday won 1-0 in the match against the Indonesia national U-23 football team at the 2020 AFC U23 Championship qualifies in My Dinh National Stadium.

The goal was made by a header by  attacking midfielder Trieu Viet Hung after midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai was awarded a corner in the last minutes of the second half. 

Thus, the team of coach Park Hang-seo will face Thailand in the last 2020 AFC U23 qualifier on March 26. 

Vietnam is expected to have a ticket for the 2020 AFC U23 final round unless the red- jersey team lose in the next match against Thailand.
