Vietnam enters semifinals at U14 Southeast Asian Women Football Championship

The hosted team- Vietnam won 3-0 against U14 Singapore at Thong Nhat sport stadium on June 12, to face with Thailand team in the semifinals at the 2014 Southeast Asian Women Football Championship.

In the first minutes of the match, U14 Vietnamese footballers actively controlled ball more than Singapore team.

By the 23rd, Vietnamese team led Singapore team with a victory of Thu Hien.

In the second match, footballer Dieu Linh beat Singapore goalkeeper Nur Rynna to bring the second goal for Vietnam.

By the 57th, leader of the team Thu Hien again excellent beat Singapore goalkeeper to bring one more goal for Vietnam’s women team.

Earlier, in the match between Philippines and Cambodia, Philippines team won Cambodia team with the final result of 5-0.

With the result, U14 Vietnam team is ranked the second position of the Table A after Philippines team. Thus, Vietnam team will face with Thailand team in the semifinals.

In the tournament of table B, U14 Thailand beat 5-0 against Thailand team 

Six football teams participate at the U14 Southeast Asian Women Football Championship, including Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.
