Vietnam loses 2-3 against Iraq at 2019 Asian Cup

Vietnam’s football team was defeated 3-2 by Iraq in their opening match of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup which took place at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates last night. 

In the opening minutes of the match, Iraqi footballers controlled most of ball.

By the 24th minute, Vietnam had the first goal after an own goal of defender Ali Faez Atia; however, Iraq quickly equalized the score 1-1 after shooting of Ali Adnan Kadhim in ten minutes later.

In the 43th minute, Vietnamese striker Cong Phuong had a successful shooting near Iraq's goal to score for the red jersey team. 

Iraqi football player Tariq beat goalkeeper Van Lam to draw the score 2-2 in the 60th minute.

In the narrow official time, Iraqi defender Ali Adnan scored after his curling free kick to dominate Vietnam 3-2 for the opening match.
