Vietnam ranks fourth at ASEAN University Games 2016

Vietnamese student delegation was ranked the fourth position at the 18th ASEAN University Games in Singapore with the achievement of 16 gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze medals.

Thailand delegation grabbed 50 gold, 34 silver and 33 bronze medals to win the championship.

In the last competitive day, Vietnamese players brought total four gold medals. In the track and field, two gold medals went to Le Van Thao and Nguyen Thi Oanh in the men’s 10,000 meters and the women’s 1, 500 meters.

Mai Hoang My Trang and Duong Van Nam/ Nguyen Thi Nga won two gold medals in the women and mixed couple of the table tennis.
