Vietnam wins Southeast Asian Handball Championship 2015

The fourth Southeast Asian Handball Championships completed successfully in HCM City's Tan Binh Sports Centre on September 27.

As the final result, Vietnam excellently won two championships in the women and men’s team categories.

In the men’s category, Vietnamese players beat Thailand team with a victory of 37- 36; meanwhile, Vietnamese women’s team won Indonesian team with achievement of 69- 26 after drawing with Hong Kong’s team (China) in the women's opening match.

This is the first time that Vietnam hosted in the fourth Southeast Asia Handball Championship.

Teams from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Hong Kong (China) attended in the competition.
