Vietnam women footballers finish training tour of China, Korea

The Vietnamese women’s football team have wrapped up a training tour of China and Korea in preparation for the Asian Cup at home next week.

The team played one match, against Korea, and lost 5-0.

Meanwhile, the Australian team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City May 8, the first to come for the Asian Cup.

Their head coach said 19 players have arrived while Lydia Grace Yilkari Williams , Samantha Kerr, and Lisa De Vanna, who are playing in the US, would reach a day later.

Vietnam, Japan, and Jordan are the other teams in group A.

Vietnam play Jordan on May 14, Japan on the 16th, and Australia on the 18th.
