Vietnam women’s chess team temporarily leads at Asian Nations Cup Chess Team Championship 2016

The Vietnam women’s chess team temporarily led in the women’s division of the Asian Nations Cup Chess Team Championship 2016 at United Arab Emirates after winning against Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates 2 and Iran respectively.

In the third round, the team including Thao Nguyen, Bao Tram, Nhu Y and Thanh An easily outplayed Iran.
 
In the men’s division, Truong Son, Minh Huy, Thien Hai and Anh Khoi were defeated 1- 3 by Chinese team, and was temporarily ranked the fifth position out of 22.
 
As schedule, the Vietnamese men team will face Mongolia team while the women’s team will compete with United Arab Emirates 1 team in the fourth round.
 
Le Quang Liem will participate the rapid chess and blitz chess game at the competition from April 6.
