Vietnam Wushu team wins 2 gold medals in WWC 2017

Vietnam Wushu delegation bagged two gold medals in the World Wushu Championships 2017 (WWC 2017) in Kazan, Russia, yesterday.

 In the men’s 52kg male category final, Vu Minh Duc defeated Arnel Mandal (Phillipines) to win 2:0 and earned one more gold medal for Vietnam Wushu delegation.

Earlier, Duong Thuy Vi (taolu sword form) won with and placed the 9th position.

In the female’s 52kg and 60kg category final, Hoang Thi Luan and Nguyen Thi Trang lost to Iranian and Chinese athletes and only bagged silver medals.

Head of Vietnam Wushu delegation Mr Vu Van Trung said Vietnam bagged total 2 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals, ranked sixth at the Kazan tournament.
