The Vietnamese sports delegation earned 58 gold, 50 silver and 60 bronze medals to stand the third position at the medal tally. 

Host country Malaysia was the first position and Thailand was ranked the second position.

By 3pm yesterday, Vietnam sports delegation had total 121 medals including 31 gold, 46 silver medals and temporarily was ranked at the 4th position behind Indonesia (89 gold medals), Malaysia (66 gold medals) and Thailand (38 gold medals).
