Over 30 countries buy 87,000 tons of Vietnam’s lychee

More than 87,000 tons of lychee harvested in the northern province of Bac Giang have been exported to 30 countries in the world since the beginning of the crop, as per a report  released on June 26 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Farmers of lychees earn VND 3,411 billion this crop

Despite the harvest season with plentiful of lychees, the fruit has been sold at high prices, up to VND 32,000-35,000 per kg  and second-class lychees price was cheaper at VND 12,000-17,000 per kg, the northern Bac Giang People's Committee reported.
