The national-flag carrier Vietnam Airlines operated more than 6,200 domestic and international flights during the peak of Tet (Lunar New Year), serving nearly 880,000 passengers, a rise of 7.4 percent against the previous year.
Total goods revenue of businesses under the market stabilization program in HCMC was estimated to reach VND18,679 billion (US$821 million) during the Tet holidays, up 15.2 percent over the previous Tet holidays, reported the Department of Industry and Trade.
