Vietnamese film wins Italian int’l film award

The film, “Dao cua dan ngu cu” (The Island of Aliens or The Way Station) by director Hong Anh was honored with the prestigious Efebo D’Oro Miglior film tratto da un libro (Best film based on a book) title at the International Efebo d'Oro (Golden Efebo) Award’s presentation ceremony which ended in Palermo, Italia on November 11.

Vietnamese film wins two prizes at 58th Asia Pacific Film Festival

The film, “Dao cua dan ngu cu” (The Island of Aliens or The Way Station) by director Hong Anh was honored with the Best Story at the 58th Asia Pacific Film Festival. The festival was held at Taipei, Taiwan (China) from Aug 31 to Sept 1.

VN film awarded Certificate of Appreciation

The Vietnamese feature film Dao Cua Dan Ngu Cu (The Way Station), directed by established actress Pham Hong Anh, has been awarded the Certificate of Appreciation by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), for its contribution to the development of awareness over issues regarding young Vietnamese people.
