HCMC synchronizes infrastructure for efficient operation of first metro line

A slew of pedestrian bridges spanning over Hanoi Highway will be built to connect the highway with stations of the first metro line Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, which is schedule to come into operation next year, to provide residents’ easy access to the stations, said Director of HCMC Urban Railway Management Board Bui Xuan Cuong.

HCMC Party Chief inspects first metro line construction site

Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan yesterday inspected rail installation at Phuoc Long station of the first metro line Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien along Hanoi Highway and some other items of the project, talked to foreign experts and contractors about problems relating to construction progress.

HCMC to test first metro line in October 2020

Deputy chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen yesterday required HCMC Urban Railways Management Board (MAUR) to make efforts to finish the first metro line project, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, and launch trial operation at the end of October 2020 at the latest.

HCMC gears up to open first metro line to traffic by 2020

Before the Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival wrapped up, staff and cadres at HCMC Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR) had returned to work with the high determination of solving identified difficulties, completing 80 percent of Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line project by the end of this year and preparing for implementing many new metro projects.

MAUR speeds up first metro line progress in HCMC

HCMC Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR) has committed to closely working with contractors, consultant firms and relevant agencies to solve congestion in efforts to speed up the progress of the first metro line project, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, and make sure the project to be done in 2020.

HCMC’s first metro line project in pursuit of opening to traffic by 2020

Construction businesses are expected to work at the highest intensity after Tet Holiday in pursuit of opening Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, the first metro line project in HCMC, to traffic by 2020, said newly appointed head of HCMC Urban Railway Management Board Bui Xuan Cuong on January 14.
