Due to the affection of a tropical low-pressure, the coastal region of north of East Sea experiences strong winds of level 6 to 7 and prolonged rains. Waves are from 3 to 4m high and rough seas, said the National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting.
Due to the affection of the southwestern monsoon, the region in the middle and south of the east sea (including Truong Sa archipelago) experiences strong wind, rough sea. Strong sea waves are forecast to reach up to 2 to 4m high, said the National Center for Hydro Meteorological and Forecasting.
According to the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control, tropical storm ‘Bebinca’ triggered high waves, heavy rain and strong winds, breaching several sea dykes and inundating vast areas of farm crops across the northern region.
