Vietnam’s exports to Algeria were estimated at nearly US$ 240.9 million in the first three quarters of 2017, an increase of 17 percent from the same period last year, according to the Trade Office of Vietnam in Algeria.
The General Statistics Office of Vietnam yesterday said that the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in nine first months of 2016 was estimated to reach 5.93 percent compared to the same period last year.
Vietnam attracted more than US$15 billion of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of this year, a surge of 36.1 percent year-on-year, according to the latest report by the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).
The Ho Chi Minh City’s economic growth is estimated to reach nearly VND305 trillion (US$16 billion) in the first nine months of the year, up 11.2 percent over the same period last year, said director of the city Department of Investment and Planning Thai Van Re on September 24.
Vietnam’s aquatic export turnover reached US$3 billion over the last nine months, a decrease of five percent of export value compared to the same period last year, said Nguyen Thanh Bien, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
