Horseshoe kidney patient receives $16,261 as compensation

The General Hospital in the Mekong delta city of Can Tho had to pay VND375 million ($16,261) in compensation and provide lifetime medical treatment to a patient after it wrongly removed both her kidneys many years ago, according to a decision of a court on July 3.
