The Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation -Vocarimex (code: VOC) has set its target the 2018 revenue will reach VND 4,8trillion, an increasing of 9 percent compared to 2017 and pre-tax profit target will be VND 300 billlion ($ 13 million), dividend payment ratio at 12 percent.
Ho Chi Minh City’s revenue from retail sales in the first half of this year is estimated at more than 328.58 trillion VND (14.47 billion USD), accounting for 65.3 percent of the city’s total earnings from retail sales and services and up 12.9 percent from the same time last year.
The Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) is the only Vietnamese company to earn revenues of VND38,000 billion (approx. US$1.7 billion) from foreign markets. The total number of its global customers at the end of 2017 was over 43 million, an increase of 15 percent compared to the previous year.
Though Vietnam has faced difficulties because of anti-dumping lawsuits in several nations, it has still grown strongly to achieve revenue of $1 billion in the first tthree months of 2018, said the Vietnam Steel Association.
Saigon Securities Inc (SSI) announced its revenue in the 1st quarter of 2018 reached VND 1,072billion, pre-tax profit of up to VND 479.2 billion, an increase of 95 percent and 46 percent against last year.
