Ho Chi Minh City is confident of fulfilling its 2018 budget collection goals, as its economy saw stable and positive development in the first three quarters of this year, according to Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Vietnam received 11.6 million visitors in the first 9 months of this year, maintaining a growth rate of more than 20 percent compared to the same period in the last year.
Vietnam enjoyed a surge of 46 percent in aquatic products’ export value to the US market in August to $188.7 million , pushing the total revenue in the first eight months of this year to$ 982.9 million up 7 percent over the same period last year.
