Ho Chi Minh City becomes more attractive to visitors

According to the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, the number of foreign visitors to the city was estimated at more than 2.2 million people since the beginning of this year with total tourism revenue at about VND40 trillion (US$1.72 billion), achieving 26.6 percent of this year’s plan.

Soc Trang to feature macaques as tourist draw

The Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang aims to preserve 350 long-tailed macaques monkeys living in a mangrove forest and develop eco-tourism as part of its tourism development plan by 2020.
