Vietnam’s exports to CPTPP countries set to surge

Vietnam’s exports to member countries of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) are expected to increase strongly through 2030, reaching 25 percent of the nation’s total exports, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT).

Forestry exports in first quarter gain highest growth in five years

According to the Vietnam Administration of Forestry under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, forest products exports were estimated at US$922 million in March, increasing forestry export turnover of the first quarter this year to roughly $2.4 billion, up 18 percent over the same period last year, the highest level in the past five years.
