Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces in the southern region of Vietnam will see increasing rainfall from October 17 and heavy rains at the weekend, reported National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.

High tide might cause flooding in HCMC’s lowlands

Tidal level is quickly surging in Saigon and Hau rivers which might cause flooding in low lying areas in HCMC and other provinces in the Mekong Delta in the next couple of days, warned the Central Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.
