Storm Son Tinh to weaken into tropical low-pressure on July 19

According to the national center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting, the 3rd storm  Son Tinh at 16pm July 18 centered at 18.8 degrees latitude, 107.5 degrees east longitude, on the Tokin Gulf, 190km from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh provinces.

The Ministry of Transport has approved the detailed planning in the period up to 2030 of Dong Hoi airport in the central province of Quang Binh where famous tourist spots such as Phong Nha, Ke Bang and Son Doong cave are located.

Localities asked to prepare for 2nd storm

The National Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control at 11am on June 5 sent its urgent official dispatch to the provinces of Quang Ninh to Binh Dinh and relevant agencies, warning them of the second storm and asking localities to deal with it.
