Defense Ministry to assist HCMC to solve port traffic jam

The Defense Ministry will assist HCMC to terminate land for defence purpose encroachment in the city and solve traffic jams around Tan Son Nhat Aiport and Cat Lai Seaport, announced the ministry at a meeting in HCMC yesterday.

HCMC calls on investors to 133 projects

HCMC called on investors to 133 projects including 116 projects calling for social investment, 11 national projects and six new others in Thu Thiem new urban area at an investment promotion conference hosted in the city yesterday.

HCMC needs stronger assistance from Gov't to tackle traffic jam

If HCMC doesn't take more initiatives and the Government doesn't give more assistances, it will be difficult for the city to tackle the currently complicated traffic jam, according to Mr. Hoang Minh Tri, former head of HCMC Institute for Development Study.

Land prices up after proposal to open more entrances to airport

After Ho Chi Minh City proposed the Ministry of Transport to open more entrances to Tan Son Son Nhat International Airport to ease traffic jam in Truong Son street, the airport’s sole entrance route now, land and house prices in proposed areas have rocketed up.
