New infrastructure approved for Thu Thiem resettlement area

The Ho Chi Minh City government has given approval to a local property developer to build technical infrastructure on three land lots covering 38.4 hectares for resettlement of residents in the Thu Thiem New Urban Area in District 2’s Binh Khanh Ward.

HCMC prepares compensation policies to Thu Thiem residents

The standing board of HCMC Party Committee yesterday listened to the reports by the civil affair commission of the city People’s Committee about expected compensation policies to 321 households in Thu Thiem new urban area.

HCMC authorities solving Thu Thiem problem on basis of residents’ benefit

HCMC authorities has clearly determined its responsibility for settling Thu Thiem planning problem on the basis of residents’ legitimate benefit. Violating organizations and individuals must be strictly handled, said chairman of the city People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong on November 14.

HCMC proposes to hand over 4,000 sq meters of land to business

HCMC People’s Committee has sent its dispatch to the Prime Minister to seek approval for the policy of handing over a 4,000 sq meter land pierce in An Phu ward, District 2 to Nova Lexington Real Estate Company instead of auctioning of land use rights of the property as per the Land Law.

HCMC leader efforts ongoing to settle Thu Thiem planning issue

Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong said he would arrange another meeting with District 2 residents next week after he have had two meetings with them to solve issues about Thu Thiem new urban area planning.
