The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism yesterday hosted the sixth Meeting of Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Southern Tourism Corridor with representatives of tourism agencies from Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO) in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.

More than 12.8 million foreign tourists have chosen Vietnam as their destination over the last 10 months, up 22.4 percent year on year, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

Sea protection campaign to be launched in central region

An environment protection campaign in tourism activities, themed “Blue Vietnamese Sea”, will take place in five central coastal cities and provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Da Nang from May 18-26.
